Completely agree. Writing front end tests are significantly less maintainable, have slower execution time, and easily flake when even small changes occur in the UI. I’m only speaking from a QA perspective, but especially when data is shared between tests, and tests run asynchronously/out of order, front end tests can truly be much more difficult to trust unless architected for scalability and maintainability.
